Car sales in Pakistan surged by 40% in the first 10 months of FY25, though April saw a slight monthly dip due to transport issues.

According to data from PAMA and Topline Securities, Pakistan’s auto sector recorded 111,464 car sales in 10MFY25, up from 79,596 last year.

In April 2025, 10,596 cars were sold, a 1% rise from April 2024 but 5% lower than March 2025. The drop was mainly due to highway closures in Sindh, which disrupted deliveries.

Analysts say this yearly growth is driven by better economic conditions, lower interest rates, easing inflation, and new model launches.

Despite the April slowdown, industry experts remain optimistic as consumer confidence grows and vehicle availability improves.
