Tech Desk – Microsoft is bringing major AI upgrades to Windows 11 with the launch of a new on-device assistant called Agent, designed to automate daily system tasks.

The Agent helps users perform actions like enlarging the mouse pointer or adjusting settings using natural language commands. It works directly on the device, reducing the need for manual control.

Initially available in English, support for more languages will roll out later. The feature will first launch on Snapdragon-based Copilot+ PCs, with Intel and AMD support to follow.

Microsoft also updated its Click to Do feature, enabling tasks like writing in Word, creating Excel lists, and scheduling in Teams—all without switching apps.

Windows 11 users will get enhanced Start menu customization, File Explorer AI tools, and a new Copilot Vision that interprets the screen for smarter suggestions.

No final release date has been confirmed, but phased updates are expected soon.
